She went to school, she had her parties, she had her sweet 16, and she had her proms. It’s good to know those things about Aaliyah. I think she was more outgoing than I, but she reminded me of myself. Although I didn’t go to my prom and parties, I loved the school dance, talent shows, and hanging at the mall. I didn’t have a lot of friends when I did things. But I could draw a crowd. I mostly stayed at home to practice on music and sometimes with family and few friends.
