She Had A Voice Like 

No Other 

Her Death Was A Mystery To Her Fans.

Aaliyah was a di!erent kind of singer. She was not like Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. But she could sing. She has been credited with helping to redefine contemporary R&B, pop, and hip hop, earning her the nicknames the "Princess of R&B" and "Queen of Urban Pop".

Aaliyah was a child when she started singing. Singing was a gift from God. According to the "Aaliyah, Life and Legacy" documentary, Pastor Marvin Winans mentioned that Aaliyah wanted to do a gospel album. We saw Aaliyah hanging around people that were not saved. We saw her at parties, but we didn't know her  heart and mind.

Appearance

1 Sam. 16:7

..for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but

the LORD looketh on the heart.

On top of that, I have said and noticed many times that Aaliyah was changing in her career. She appeared to be a young woman compared to her teenage years. Aaliyah may have had a di!erent mindset about things.

1 Cor. 13:11

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

And so, Aaliyah was growing into adulthood. She may have made mistakes and may have done some things wrong. Her life was how it was suppose to have been in making choices. Aaliyah had to learn just like everyone else.

MOVIES - WAS IT A BLESSING?

Aaliyah was getting bigger and better in her career. She was beginning to do movies. Sometimes it seems like the higher you climb the more the devil is on your case.

We know for sure he doesn't want anyone to make it in this life or to heaven. Aaliyah did finish two movies, but we don't know how her life would have been if she had lived to keep on going. Making movies looked like a blessing, but we don't know what more she had to do to make it even more to the top. We don't know if she would have been able to handle it.

Sometimes Hollywood is just wrong. It can help your life maybe and it can ruin it too.

HAVING AN AFFECT ON PEOPLE

Aaliyah had knowledge about people and things. People seemed to love her that was around her. Even children. It is said Aaliyah was a good person. Having so much a!ect on people, she probably could have led some people to do the right thing in life if not everyone.

She had fans that would probably have done anything that she wanted them to do. Aaliyah had responsibilities under God in heaven. Some things might not have been in God's will for her to do right away. Only God knows. Being a good person and showing kindness might have been all it took. She did have an a!ect on some people. Aaliyah could have been a light to the people around her.

Matt. 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
